How to play Bramble Cross
Bramble Cross is a free, single-player motocross game with twelve courses across three illustrated worlds. Accelerate up ramps, lean through giant loops and land on your wheels. Thorn beds sit beneath the jumps: touching them with your rider or bike ends the attempt.
- Press Play and get ready during the countdown. Hold Up Arrow or Space to accelerate; use Down Arrow to brake. On a phone, hold the large buttons beneath the game.
- Lean back with Left Arrow and forward with Right Arrow. Keep enough speed for the loop, then line up your wheels for the next landing. You can hold gas and lean together on a touchscreen.
- Reach the finish to earn bronze, silver or gold. A safely landed flip removes half a second from your time, up to a total discount of 40% of ride time. Each checkpoint retry adds three seconds.
Three ways to ride
Adventure: finish each course to unlock the next. Earn up to three stars on each of twelve rides.
Practice: every course is open from the start. Practice records stay separate from Adventure.
Daily ride: a shared course rotates at midnight UTC. Everyone starts with the same course and rules. An unfinished Daily ride keeps its original date until you start today’s ride. The challenge rotates through the twelve authored courses.
Before your first send
What happens when I crash?
Touching thorns, striking the terrain with your frame or rider, or falling off the route ends the attempt. Retry from the latest safe checkpoint after the countdown. Each retry adds three seconds. Fresh lap starts the course again from the beginning.
Can I play this motocross game on my phone?
Yes. Use the gas, brake and lean buttons; gas and lean can be held together. Portrait and landscape layouts keep the controls beside or beneath the ride. Turning the phone pauses the game so you can get ready again.
Do I need an account?
No. Your progress saves on this device when browser storage is available. An optional account syncs your Adventure, Practice and Daily saves, settings and character outfit between devices. If two saves disagree, you can choose which one to keep.
Can I customize my rider?
Choose your Zubboo family member, colors and clothes in My Zubboo. A riding helmet replaces your normal hat during the race. Finish three Adventure courses to earn the Bramble bloom wheel patch. Cosmetic choices do not change bike handling.
Can I pause and continue later?
Yes. Press Pause or P. The game also pauses when the tab loses focus, the phone changes orientation or graphics are temporarily lost. A saved unfinished ride can resume after a page reload. Wait for the countdown before taking off again.
