How to play Powder Pop

Powder Pop is a free, single-player snowboard game about choosing your line and sticking your landing. Carve through snow stamps, charge a jump and turn in the air. Your board can land forwards or backwards; the trick counts when you touch down safely.

  1. Press Play and get ready during the countdown. Left and Right carve on the snow. Hold Space to charge, then release to pop. Down brakes; P pauses.
  2. In the air, Left and Right rotate your board. Release the turn when the mint guide says to settle. A 180° lands switch, with the other end of the board pointing downhill. Both directions count; landing sideways causes a tumble.
  3. On a phone or tablet, hold the controls beneath the slope. You can hold a direction and Pop together. Turning your phone pauses the ride so you can get ready again.

Charge while your board is on the snow. More charge gives more lift, up to a limit. A sharp crest can also lift the board. Leave enough room to land before a low snow stamp.

Three worlds. Twelve trails. Your pace.

Start in Marshmallow Pines with mint trees, rollers and first stamp lines. Apricot Peaks adds warm cliffs, wider kickers and longer combinations. Moonmilk Ridge brings blue-hour snow, lavender trees and the final mountain trails.

Adventure opens the next trail when you meet the current goal. Practice opens all twelve from the start, with separate records. Daily picks one shared trail and board for the date in UTC, keeping its results separate from Adventure.

Make the landing count

Each trail shows its goal: clean landings, snow stamps and, on later trails, landed turns. Meet the goal for your first badge. Collect every stamp for another; finish without a tumble for one more. Extra badges only count after the main goal is met.

Each stamp adds 50 points. A clean landing adds 100, plus 150 for each landed half-turn. The result shows your run score and what counted toward the goal. Your best badge result stays saved when you try again.

A board earned by you

Coral Cruiser is yours from the start. Clear three Adventure trails for Mint Drift, eight for Peach Fizz and all twelve for Moonbeam. New boards change your look, never your speed. Daily uses its shared board while preserving your personal choice for Adventure and Practice.

Your first three Adventure clears also earn the Powder pal snowboard patch. Wear it with your chosen family member, colors and clothes in My Zubboo. Collect souvenirs across the arcade to uncover more of the crew’s story.

Questions from the lodge

Is this a snowboard game or a ski game?

It is a snowboard game. Both feet are attached to one board. You carve on the snow, rotate in the air and can land forwards or switch. For ski slalom, try Alpine Rush.

Why did I finish without a badge?

Check the trail goal and result card. You may still need a clean landing, another stamp or a landed turn. Reaching the lodge alone does not guarantee a badge. The result gives a suggestion for your next attempt.

Why did I miss a snow stamp?

Your rider or board needs to touch it. Flying above the snowflake does not collect it; it passes behind you. Carve early and leave room to land before a low stamp. A real collection shows +50 and a gold pulse. Gentle effects keeps the points without moving particles.

Can I try later trails right away?

Yes. Practice opens all twelve. Its records are separate; return to Adventure to unlock the mountain and earn new boards.

What happens if a Daily ride crosses midnight?

An unfinished saved Daily ride keeps its original date and trail. Finish it or choose today’s trail. Starting today’s trail replaces that unfinished Daily attempt while keeping your date records and other modes.

Can I pause and continue on another device?

Yes. Pause before leaving; a saved ride returns paused and resumes after a countdown. Play as a guest to save on this device, or sign in to carry your three mode saves, board choice, outfit and sound/effects settings between devices. If account and device saves differ, choose which one to keep before playing.

Do I need to register or turn on sound?

No. Guest play and silent play are available from the start. Sound and effects controls are in the lodge beside or below the game. Gentle effects follows your device’s reduced-motion setting until you choose a different preference.
